Can you migrate from Intercom Essential, Advanced, and Expert?

Yes. All Intercom tiers are supported. We use Intercom's REST API for conversations, users, companies, and custom data. Articles use the Articles API. Series and Workflows use the Workflows API.

What happens to our Workflows, Series, and Custom Bots?

Workflows become HubSpot Workflows. Series (multi-step campaigns) translate to HubSpot Workflows and Marketing Email Sequences depending on use. Custom Bots become HubSpot Chatflows. The four-way automation model consolidates into HubSpot's unified builder.

Can you migrate Fin AI logic?

Fin's specific configuration doesn't port directly - but the use case does. HubSpot's Breeze AI handles response suggestions, conversation summaries, intent classification, and content generation. We rebuild the resolution intent in Breeze, usually with comparable deflection results and no per-resolution charges.

Will we lose conversation history?

No. Every conversation, message, internal note, attachment, and participant record migrates. Counts are reconciled on both sides before sign-off.

Can you migrate Custom Data Attributes and Custom Objects?

Yes. Custom Data Attributes map to HubSpot properties with field types preserved. Custom Objects map to HubSpot Custom Objects with relationships preserved.

What about our Intercom Messenger widget?

The Intercom Messenger widget on your site is replaced with HubSpot's live chat widget. Chat history migrates to HubSpot Conversations. Outbound messages, Tours, and Banner messages are recreated in HubSpot's equivalent features.

How does Help Center migration work?
