Are you telling us to leave BigCommerce?

Almost never. BigCommerce is usually the right tool for the storefront. We migrate the marketing, CRM, and service layer to HubSpot - the parts of the stack where the BigCommerce app ecosystem starts to feel limiting.

What happens to our Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Bronto programs?

Every program is rebuilt natively as HubSpot Workflows with the same triggers, content, and segmentation. Parallel sends during build keep deliverability stable through cutover.

Can HubSpot Commerce replace BigCommerce for us?

For some businesses, yes - small catalogs (under about 500 SKUs) and B2B with quote-driven sales. For mid-market or enterprise BigCommerce merchants with complex catalogs, multi-storefront, B2B, or Catalyst storefronts, BigCommerce stays and HubSpot integrates.

How does BigCommerce B2B fit with HubSpot?

They complement each other. BigCommerce B2B handles storefront-side B2B (shared price lists, quotes, company accounts). HubSpot brings the CRM, deal pipeline, account scoring, and ABM on top. We design the data exchange to keep company and contact records in sync.

How long does this kind of migration take?

Most BigCommerce CRM-and-marketing migrations run 7 to 11 weeks. BigCommerce Enterprise accounts with B2B, multi-storefront, and large marketing stacks run 10 to 14 weeks.

How do you pull data out of BigCommerce?

Through the BigCommerce v3 REST API. The data is staged, transformed, and loaded into HubSpot in batches with reconciliation reports comparing customer, order, and revenue counts.

Will Stencil or Catalyst storefronts have to be rebuilt?

No. Stencil themes stay where they are. Catalyst storefronts stay on Catalyst. HubSpot connects via API for CRM, marketing, and service - the storefront is decoupled from the migration.

What about BigCommerce native email and abandoned cart?

Native email and abandoned cart in BigCommerce get replaced by HubSpot equivalents. The native features stay available; we just stop using them once the HubSpot workflows are tested and live.

Can we keep multi-channel selling on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart?

Yes. Multi-channel selling stays on BigCommerce. Channel data - Amazon, eBay, Walmart - flows into HubSpot as a property on the contact and order so marketing can run channel-specific lifecycle programs.
